Usman Sarfraz, a resident of Lahore has gone ahead and done just that. He has purchased a car registration number, LZL-1, for Rs 400,000 at an auction organised by the Excise and Taxation Department. The department auctioned popular car registration numbers, 1 to 9, 10 to 99, 100, 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, 888, 999, 786 and other sough-after three-digit numbers, of the LZL series for a total of Rs 4.9 million.
