Big Hit Pakistani Cricket Shirts Fetch £1 Million in Sales

Sales of Pakistan’s one-day strip from the 2003 World Cup are expected to reach £1million following some unexpected exposure from British comedian Peter Kay on Channel 4′s comedy show Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere according to The Mirror newspaper. Kay wore the shirt in all six episodes of the series, which finished last Friday.

The World Cricket Store, which holds the UK licence to make the shirts, has been overwhelmed by the demand. It outsells England strips.
