Sindh Plans Ambitious E-Policing System

Inspired by Singaporean model of e-policing, the Sindh Information Technology Department has embarked upon an ambitious project to connect 10 police stations "We will connect 10 police stations in Karachi to the main servers accessible to central police and home offices," According to Saigal, the government has planned to introduce computerisation of land, city survey and stamp duty collections in the revenue department. Besides computerising excise department for collecting motor vehicle registration, property and excise tax, he added, we have plans to computerise Civil Hospital Karachi within few months.
