Pakistani Director Set to Release Feature Film in US

A 34-year old Pakistani living in San Francisco has just completed a feature film that is now ready for release. Hassan Zee, who is 34 years old and an optometrist by profession, will become the first Pakistani to have completed and released a full-length feature film in America when his Night of Henna comes to the screen. He is a medical graduate from Pakistan who later wrote for radio. The movie has its share of cultural stereotypes, such as an authoritarian father or a mother who presses her husband’s feet.
