Islamabad Fashion Show Celebrates Evolution of Urdu Language

The epic presentation of the evolution of Urdu language and heritage in the form of a fashion show titled "Aik safar Urdu ka" was held at the Rose and Jasmine Garden here on Saturday. The presentation was based on the evolution of Urdu through ages. Presented in seven phases, the show was exquisitely choreographed by Imran Qureshi, the stunning traditional costumes were designed by Faiza Samee, and the narratives were scripted and presented by Syed Shamoon Hashmi. The show was a true depiction of the rich traditional heritage of Urdu language and culture through different phases of history. The other interesting addition was the quips added by FM-101 artist Atif in the background along with the descriptive narration of the era depicted.
