Kenya tea factory finds a niche in Pakistan

Tea from a Kenyan factory has found a niche in the Pakistan market because of consistency in quality, a director said yesterday.

The chairman of Gathuthi Tea Factory in Nyeri district, G.W. Kagondu said the company had also been nominated as a preferred supplier by Premier Brands and Ethical Tea sourcing partnership groups. The two are international organisations representing tea markets and consumer groups in Europe.
