Nokia wins Pakistan phone network

Finnish mobile phone company Nokia says it has signed a deal with Norwegian firm Telenor to set up and run a mobile telephone network in Pakistan.

The company said the network would be operational by the first half of next year, and would initially cover northern and central Punjab.
