British Rider on Horseback from Pakistan to China

A BRITISH horse rider is all set to kick off the second phase of his journey – from Lahore to Beijing – on a fundraising campaign for education. Stephen McCutcheon, 25, who started his journey from New Delhi in late 2004, arrived here in December the same year. Now after six months of preparation, he is about to start the second phase of his journey around the start of August. He hopes to be the first person to ride 10,000kms from Delhi to Beijing along the fabled silk route.
