Classic Indian Urdu Film Set for Pakistan Release

The long wait for Pakistani movie buffs to watch Mughal-e-Azam, one of the greatest of Indian films, is finally over. The film, released in 1960 in India, went on to become an all-time classic and catapulted its director, K. Asif, into the all-time greats of Bollywood. Pakistan president General Musharraf has given his approval for the screening of the film in Pakistan theatres. The film revolves around the character of the Mogul prince Saleem and his lady love Anarkali, a court dancer.
