K-2 Climbers Line Up for Exciting New Season

Everest season is about to start, but teams are also getting ready for the summer. Low prices and a relatively quiet political situation in Pakistan have laid the groundwork for a most exciting 2005 climbing season. In a few months we will be following the tracks of high altitude climbers on Pakistan’s 8000ers and the progress of alpine-style teams on the rock and ice spires!
Nanga Parbat will receive many more visits. French, Swiss, Japanese, and Chilean teams are already listed. And there will certainly be news of new teams in the upcoming months.
