Pakistan offered $2 billion for railway upgrades

Pakistan is likely to become the most accessible international trade route to Central Asia, Iran and China as the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has offered to provide $2 billion to improve and rehabilitate the Pakistan Railways (PR) network.

Official sources told Online on Sunday that the grant would likely to be provided primarily for the rehabilitation of the PR network, which would consequently lead to rail connectivity with Central Asian states.
