Info contributed by the author: Wazir Khan Mosque was built in 1634-35 AD during the reign of Mughal Emperor ShahJehan by Ilam-ud-din-Dinsari commonly known as Nawab Wazir Khan, who was governer of lahore till 1639 AD. The entire mosque is built with small bricks laid in “Kanker Lime” with a sparkling of red sand-stone. The mosque was built in 7 years.

    my dear Muslims friends why do i see the word mosque as it should be Masjid. mosque has been derived from mosquito. my Muslims friends we shall a keen eye on such minor details. its for our own good. may Allah always be on our side to let such create such work of envy.
