Golf Getting Popular Among Young Pakistanis

Pakistan, which has for a long time been known for its brilliant cricketers, hockey stars and squash players is making a mark in golf–one of the fastest growing sport in Asia. About six players from Pakistan are currently taking part in the Southern leg of the Amby Valley PGAI tour. Although Pakistan's most popular sport may be cricket and hockey, golf is slowly catching up with the imagination of the youngsters in Pakistan. “Golf is growing in popularity in Pakistan. We have four golf courses in Lahore and three in Karachi”.
