Pakistan’s First Biodiversity Park Opens for Public

The Morgah Biodiversity Park, the first of its kind in Pakistan, is a brainchild of United Nations Economic & Social Commission for Asia and Pacific costing $1,55,000. Initially, the basic concept behind the establishment of the park, covering 28 acres of land, was conservation of flora and fauna in natural habitat of the Potohar region. Later, some unique features were introduced in the concept.
