Saudi Children in Pakistan Mountaineering Trek

The four-day expedition will take place in the third week of August and will cover some northern areas of Pakistan. Pakistan is endowed with a collection of high mountains having 720 peaks above 6,000 metres with 162 peaks above 7,000 metres and five above 8,000 metres, including the second tallest mountain — Chogori — the K-2. Students would be trained on environmental issues of the area by demonstrating friendly eco-tourism techniques. Around 20 children between the ages of 12 and 14 will be taking part in the trek.
