Dramatic Increase in Pakistan Car Demand

Pakistan is scrambling to cope with a dramatic increase in demand for cars that has driven waiting periods for new buyers to as long as five months. From today the government is to slash import duties on used cars, with returning Pakistani expatriates benefitting from a reduction in duty of up to 48 per cent to import a two-year-old foreign-made car.
