Fuel Cell Technology Developed by Pakistan Institute

Pakistan Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology (PINSTECH), a premier institute of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, has developed a new technology to fabricate the fuel cell indigenously, taking lead in the development of fuel cell technology in Pakistan. In order to bring about reduction in unwanted greenhouse gases from vehicular emissions, experiments to run the transport on hydrogen fuel are underway in many countries and auto-manufacturers are working on the production of vehicles powered by fuel cells.
