Ukraine to Build $600 Million Sindh Power Plant

Ukraine will set up 300 MW coal-fired power plant in Pakistan’s Sindh region at a cost of $600 million. The Sindh Coal Development Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ukraine’s Ukrinterenergo, The News daily reported Thursday. Under the MoU, the state-owned Ukrinterenergo will transfer technology to Fateh Group of Pakistan to set up the power plant that was likely to be commissioned within three years.
