Pakistan Hockey Veterans Too Good for India

While India and Pakistan slug it out on the cricket pitch, there was another Indo-Pak clash that took place today. Except that it was on astro-turf and featured 40-year old veterans. But here too, the visitors appeared the better side as the Pakistan veterans’ hockey team took an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the four match series after beating their Indian counterparts 5-3 in the third match played at the Shivaji Stadium here. The Pakistanis had won the first two matches in Jalandhar and Bhopal.
