Unique Pakistan-India Album a Hit on Local Charts

A new album, product of a unique Indo-Pak musical collaboration, has taken Pakistan by storm and is steadily climbing the charts there, according to noted singer Hariharan, who has provided music for the venture. "The album, being of a traditional kind, has been received very well in Pakistan where generally pop music holds the sway. It is doing No 5 in Pakistan charts, which is like fighting the system," 50-year-old Hariharan said. The album Lahore Ke Rang, Hari Ke Sang, is yet to be released in India but has been informally released in the UK market…
