Landscapes Exhibition Opens in Islamabad

Though this is her first solo exhibition in Islamabad, Asma exhibited her works for the first time while being stationed in Saudi Arabia in 2000. Asma told ‘The News’ that it was a memorable experience for her as she displayed her paintings at an exhibition organised on the behest of the Crown Prince to display the works of women painters based in Saudi Arabia. She had the chance to display her paintings along with the works of Dutch, British, Egyptian and some other women painters. Asma has graduated in fine arts from Swain School of Arts, Boston, Massachusetts.
