via jang.com.pk

After the tremendous success of Phantom of the Opera last spring, Shah Sharahbeel is back to rock the town with his latest theatre blockbuster Moulin Rouge, a play termed the event of the year at Lahore in 2003. The play opens on Friday as the grand finale of the Margalla Festival at the same venue where Phantom had created a stir in 2004. Talking to ‘The News’ about his current play, Shah Sharahbeel said that he has been practising with a fresh cast of amateurs for the last three months and now the stage is set with meticulous planning and execution of the sets, the background sound and music, and the hard work put into the performance by the young volunteers.
