Pakistani Working Women’s Photo Exhibition Opens in London

Designed to act as a catalyst to improve educational achievements amongst young people, especially those of Pakistani background, the posters portray women as positive role models. A collection of posters depicting Pakistani women in non-traditional female professions has gone on show at the Galleries of Justice in Nottingham. Launched on March 8, International Women’s Day, Women@Work is on display until April 8 2005 and is aimed at challenged outdated preconceptions of feminine roles in Pakistani society and the wider diaspora.
