Major Changes Suggested in Pakistani Electronic ID Card

Pakistan’s top securities designer on Saturday suggested revolutionary changes in the electronic National Identity Card (NIC) with an aim to make it more secure. History goes back to 1970-1975 when first NIC campaign took into consideration seriously. The first issued card was absolutely unsecured for the following reasons: Easily photo copied by colour copier. Easily scanned by high tech scanners. Photo of cardholder could easily be changed.
