The course of true love never did run smooth, and between sub-continental siblings, India and Pakistan, the bard’s words never rang truer. Buffalo, you ask, with that slightly curled lip. Not if you are in Haryana or Punjab (on either side of the border), where the true worth of such animals is well appreciated. Doubtless, illustrious descendants of the said buffalo may well power the road to India-Pakistan peace. It was a year ago that his counterpart, and now friend, Pervaiz Elahi (CM of the other Punjab), had gifted a steed to Amarinder as a mark of their burgeoning friendship.
