via www.dailytimes.com.pk

A graduate from the Karachi University, Qazi spent four years at the Karachi School of Arts (KSA). He is fascinated with the old architecture of Sindh and clay colour dominated his paintings. He painted his hometown, Thatta, paying attention to the tiniest details. Yellow dusty lanes and bazaars with vendors displaying prices, old havelis with half broken wooden balconies and jharokas were his favourite subjects. Qazi’s distinctive style has earned him a reputation as a skilled water colourist.
