via www.dailytimes.com.pk

Abdul Qudoos Arif, commonly known as AQ Arif, a Karachi-based artist comes back to the capital in less than a year’s time but with a different style. Arif seems to have a passion for painting historical buildings and sites of the country. His earlier paintings were realistic and were clear in view like Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort, but this time all the buildings seem dilapidated, expressing the artist’s concern over the negligence of the government towards preserving the cultural heritage of the country.
