Pakistani Art Exhibition an Eye-Opener for Omanis

The nine-day Pakistani art exhibition opened yesterday to wonderful response from the viewers as everyone looked impressed by the quality of work from some of the top artists. “This is all eye-opening stuff. This is the first time that I have got the opportunity to see Pakistani art and am really impressed.” Pakistani artists too were bowled over by the viewers’ response. Both Qudsia Nisar and Ayesha Durrani could barely conceal the delight when approached by the Times. Qudsia, who is a specialist in abstract art, was specially encouraged by people’s interest in her work highlighting footprint.
