Pakistani Women Socially More Active Than Thought

Dispelling a common perception that women in Pakistan are not professionally employed and are restricted by their religious beliefs, a Pakistan-based lawyer today said more and more women are active in various fields. Nearly 40,000 women are working across Pakistan as councillors alone and there are women in every field including law and banking with teaching being the most preffered [sic] profession.
