Pakistani Journalist Wins Lorenzo Natali Prize

The News staffer and young journalist Zulfiqar Shah has won European Commission’s prestigious ‘Lorenzo Natali Prize’ for the year 2004. His feature story on honour killings ‘Till Death Do Us Part’ published in November 2003 has been ranked one of the best three articles of Asia Pacific region by a Paris-based Grand Jury. The Prize is given to journalists from Europe, Africa, the Arab World, Iran and Israel, Asia and the Pacific and Latin America and the Caribbean.
