Pakistan won silver medal in Third World Pankration Athlima (kick boxing and karate) Team Championship held at Community Recreation Center, Sydney, Australia last month. Three Pakistanis – Sarfraz Hussain, Hashim Khan and Muhammad Ayub Awan – also earned bronze medals in individual competitions of the championship. Hosts Australia clinched gold medal, while losing semi-finalists Greece and New Zealand settled for bronze in team championship.
