Blind Swiss Tourist ‘Feels’ a Surprising Pakistan

A visually impaired person from Switzerland, Martin Naef is exploring Pakistan, not to enjoy its marvellous tourists’ attraction sites but to interact with different social groups. Martin Naef, who also a Ph.D in education, entered Pakistan via Turkey and Iran, extensively travelling in public transport to come across the people belonging to different walks of life.

“I felt things totally different over here (Pakistan) quite contrary to that being projected in the western media,” he said. Martin said though he could not see the beautiful mountain peaks, gushing rivers, serene valleys and infinite deserts of Pakistan, but he could enjoy the hospitality and affection of its friendly people. “I shall convey my countrymen the love and kindness I’ve received from the people of Pakistan…
