Swiss Exhibition on ‘Borders and Beyond’ Opens in Lahore

There was an exhibition of photographs titled ‘Borders and Beyond’ at the Shakir Ali Museum on Monday organised by the Swiss embassy in collaboration with the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA). Tim Enderlin, the Swiss chief of embassy affairs, said that the aim of the exhibition was to portray some aspects of borders and to show what borders mean to people.

He said that the exhibition should be a contribution to the debate about challenges related to borders and would take in account the issue of migration and the cultural consequences of it to a society.

He said that the exhibition had been produced by Pro Helvetia, the arts council of Switzerland, on behalf of the Swiss Ministry of foreign affairs.
