Student Art Project Concludes in Lahore

A week-long art exhibition titled ‘Unilever National Art Project 2004’ to display artwork by students from across Pakistan, concluded at Alhamra Hall-III on Friday. The artwork was themed ‘Connecting and Communicating’.

Artists were divided in three age categories; from 5 to 10 years, 11 to 14, and 15 to 18. Over 200 works of art, including collages, installations, paint and plasters, from small intricate models to a 96-foot long scroll, were selected from 262 schools. Four winners from each age category were selected. The prize-winning pieces will be sent to London for display in an international exhibition at the Tate Modern Art Gallery.
