“I am Karachi born and have studied up to matriculation. My father was a thread and cord dealer. I never have been interested in books, rather had intention to do some business. I always admire colourful kites and am fond of flying them. I am fond of watching cricket on television. Almighty Allah has blessed me with five sons and all are school-going.

I took the charge of this shop after the death of my father. With all my energies I started the business of kites and allied items. I started making kites and manjah (cord used for flying kites). I already had sufficient knowledge of this trade so it was not difficult to me to start it. My brothers also advised me to do kite business, as they knew that I had interest in this field…”
