A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Lahore

Performance Theatre on Friday staged William Shakespeare’s popular comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Alhamra Hall-1. The play is a beautiful love story between two pairs of lovers, a typical fairy tale.

Talking to Daily Times, producer of the play, Zara Randle said, “Our sole aim is to bring quality theatre to the Lahoris, so we chose this play to provide literary entertainment to the audience.”

She added, “Bringing work by Shakespeare to life is certainly not an easy task, but I’m lucky to have a director like Daud and a talented cast.
