Lahore Cosmopolitan Club to be “culture club”

The Cosmopolitan Club was leased in 1927 by the then Punjab governor Sir Halley and has catered to some of the city’s most influential people.

The club housed 11 tennis courts, two bridge rooms, a snooker room, a TV lounge and badminton court. It catered to nearly 300 members. The Cosmopolitan Club was closed two and a half months ago after a rift developed between club members over club registration…
