Free Late Night Phone Calls from Tonight

The PTCL subscribers will heave a sigh of relief as the package announced by the company last month to exploit untapped potential of the telecom market would come into force fully on Friday (today).

Under the package, the PTCL domestic and commercial consumers will enjoy free-of-cost local calls during late night hours, reduced international and domestic tariffs and cuts in Internet bandwidth rates and other related services.

The subscribers have already been availing the facility of new phone connections at reduced installation fee sine July 20. As per package, the installation fee for new telephones in urban areas has been reduced from Rs1,350 to Rs750. The installation fee of Rs500 in rural areas will remain unchanged.
