Postage stamp on K-2

The Pakistan Post Office will on Saturday issue commemorative stamps of Rs5 denomination about the golden jubilee of the first ascent of K-2, says a press release.

A press release says that Pakistan has some of the richest mountain ranges, the Himalayas, the Hindu Kush and the Karakorum, converging in the Northern Areas, capped with some of the tallest world's peaks among them K-2, the world second highest at 8,611 m known to locals and ancient Tibetans…
