Consumer rights bill okayed in Punjab

The Punjab cabinet has approved drafts of the Protection of Consumer Rights (PCR) bill and the Punjab Heritage Foundation (PHF) bill and also awarded the charter to the University of South Asia on Saturday. These bills would be tabled in the Punjab Assembly in its next session.

Pakistan signs five accords with Chinese universities

Under the agreements, more than 20 staff members of Comsats Institute of Information Technology will be sent to China every year for PhDs in different disciplines. This programme will start from September this year and will cover other areas of mutual interests, including faculty exchange programme, collaboration in research and participation in seminars and conferences.
